In order to improve the overall development (social, cultural, emotional and physical) of our students, we apply the proposed work we call the educational project, where our students have the experience of the subjects studied in textbooks and textbooks. The educational projects implemented in our school this year are:
1. Wheel Reading Project - (1st to 5th year)
Objective: Increase the size of the imagination, creativity and the act of reading new titles.
How it works: Every two weeks, is sent home 01 (a) book from school textbooks, as indicated by age group. This will be read by the student and return to school, where they will be applied multidisciplinary activities (games, wheels of conversations, written interpretive work).
2. Project Read textbooks - (1st to 5th year)
Objective: To encourage reading, expand vocabulary, learn great literary works and classic literature.
How it works: Every two months, the teacher in charge informs the title of the book to be read and set a deadline to apply their written interpretation. Students are reading this book, so soft and comfortable in their homes, and parents can assist them in understanding, exploring facts and figures.
At the end of two months, the students guided by the teacher, answer sheets readings. (The 4 (four) books of this project were adopted and reported in the BOM 2011).
3. Citizen of the world "city" - (1st to 6th year)
Objective: Increase content through practical experiences (classes, field).
How it works: every two months will be promoted (class-field) city, where students will experience the subjects studied in class. Each class will produce a field-evaluation report, which also contribute to the A3 note of the current two months.
4. Brainstorm-(1st to 5th year)
Objective: Educate the preservation of the environment and meet new cultures.
How it works: Every two months, according to the 2011 theme - "The Beauty of Nations." The series will be subdivided as follows: 1st year: Oceania / Australia, 2nd year: Africa / Angola and Madagascar, 3 years America / North and South, 4th year: Europe / Spain, 5 years: Japan
Seminars will be launched, written production, fabricated alternative materials, experimental and scientific purposes for the construction of concrete science fair
5. Project Exporart-(1st to 5th year)
Objective: To encourage and meet the national and international art.
How it works: proposed activities will be about painters national literature searches, this year, the Northeast, then apply the practice to paint a picture of the artist's style, but with the identity of each student. Finally, we will make the culmination of this project with an art exhibition of work made.
6. CTC Project - Science and technology with creativity-(1st to 5th year)
Purpose: To stimulate critical thinking, curiosity, creativity and logical reasoning in science, linked to other disciplines such as mathematics, Portuguese, geography, history, arts and physical education, developing scientific attitudes, encouraging teamwork.
How it works: Four weekly classes where they are taught the practices suggested by the student book material in specific research.
6. ROBOTIC-Project (1st to 5th year)
Objective: To develop problem-solving skills, flexibility / adaptability, autonomy, responsibility and entrepreneurial attitude.
How it works: There are two weekly classes where practical classes on curricular issues suggested by (magazines) interdisciplinary, with concrete material (suitcases technology) provided by Lego Education Zoom.
7. Bullying Project - (1st to 1st year of High School)
Objectives: To make students aware of the development of culture of peace in order to minimize repetitive practices of threats, humiliation and placement of names, and characteristics of bullying cyberbuliyng.
How it works: Once a month, the team enters the halls of Psychology to conduct activities to explain to students what bullying is, types, treatment, and encourage respect and friendship among peers. In Elementary I, there is the "moment kindness" in which students once a week choose a colleague to spend time together, getting to know better. In the Elementary and High School II, there is the 'knowing my friend, "in which students, drawn in pairs, they must explain to the class the qualities of his friend and what they did together. There are also moments to Attend educational films that have reference to the subject.
